Matt Locke
Matt is the Chief Executive Office for the Brightstep Services group. He oversees the company’s business activities while focusing on growth, strategy and M&A efforts as well as serving on the Board of Directors.
Matt has more than 25 years of leadership experience in several organizations in the manufacturing, distribution and service businesses. Prior to Brightstep, Matt worked for Carrier Corporation, Republic Services, Valet Waste and Carter & Burgess. Matt has a BSCE from Christian Brothers University and an MBA from the Neely School at Texas Christian University. He resides in Carmel, IN with his wife and two children. He serves on the Board of Directors for St. Bernard Preparatory School in Cullman, AL.
Matt Betsill
Matt is the Chief Operating Officer for the Brightstep Services Group. He oversees the company’s operations, technology, and HR activities with a focus on client experience, operational excellence, and profitability.
Matt has more than 15 years of experience in operations leadership and tech-enabled services, including in the residential services, deployed technology services, and regulated utility verticals. Prior to Brightstep, Matt worked for 1Path and Power Secure (a Southern Company). Matt is a graduate of Furman University in Greenville, SC, and resides in Atlanta, GA with his wife and two children. He is a former professional athlete and Jr. Olympic Gold Medalist.
Chris Wallace
Chris is the Corporate Controller for Brightstep Services group. He oversees the company’s financial reporting activities while focusing on strategic planning and process improvement and standardization across the portfolio companies.
Chris has more than 30 years of leadership experience in service-oriented organizations. Prior to Brightstep, he worked for UPS, Republic Services, and JLL. Chris has a BBA from Texas A&M University and an MS in Finance from Georgia State University. He resides in Houston, TX and has been married 25 years with his wife, Laurie. They have 5 children, 4 grandchildren, and 2 German Shepards.

Our Story
Justin Frost and Gary Frost started Affinity Waste Solutions after seeing a need for quality service on site. Justin's experience as a Regional Maintenance Supervisor coupled with Gary's military background as a Chief Master Sergeant of the United States' Air Force created an unstoppable team with unparalleled drive, determination, and professionalism.
